Privacy notice

This privacy notice explains how Spire Maths handles personal information when people use this website, contact us, or use our teaching resources. It should be read alongside our terms and cookie policy.

Who we collect information about

The current classroom resources do not require pupils to create accounts, enter names, or submit work through the site.

Information we may collect

How we use information

Legal basis

We process personal information where it is needed to respond to a request, provide a service, meet a legal obligation, or pursue legitimate interests such as website security and service improvement. Where consent is required, for example for non-essential cookies or marketing, we will ask for it separately.

Sharing information

We may use trusted service providers for hosting, email, analytics, payments, school account management or technical support. They should only process information for the agreed purpose. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the website and its users.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Enquiry emails are normally kept while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Account, payment and invoice records may need to be kept longer for legal, tax or audit reasons.

Your rights

You may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to some uses, restrict processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. To make a request, contact us using the details on the contact page.

Children and pupils

The site is designed for adults to use when teaching maths. Pupils should not be asked to enter personal information into the current tools. If pupil accounts, saved work or school dashboards are added in future, this notice should be updated before those features go live.
