These terms explain how you may use the Spire Maths website, maths tools, programmes and family courses. By using the site, you agree to use it responsibly and only for lawful educational purposes.
Who the resources are for
The resources are designed for teachers, tutors, schools and adults supporting maths learning. Teachers remain responsible for choosing resources that are suitable for their pupils, lesson aims and school policies.
Using the resources
- You may use the resources for classroom teaching, lesson preparation, intervention, tutoring and home-learning support.
- You may display the interactive tools on a classroom screen or interactive board.
- You must not copy, resell, redistribute, rebrand or publish the resources as your own product.
- You must not try to bypass login, beta access, subscription or other access controls.
Free beta accounts
Spire Maths may offer free beta accounts while the site is under construction. Beta access is intended to let teachers try the resources and help shape the service. Users must provide accurate account information and keep login details secure.
Paid family courses
11+ Maths Momentum: A 10-Day Preparation Programme costs £39 for one child profile and provides 90 days of access from successful payment. Each additional child requires a separate purchase. It is a one-off purchase and does not renew automatically. The first release is sold only to UK customers in pounds sterling.
Payments, immediate access and cancellations
Stripe processes course payments and its payment terms may also apply. Before checkout, the purchaser must expressly request immediate digital access and acknowledge that once supply of the digital content begins, the usual 14-day cancellation right is affected. If those confirmations are not given, checkout cannot begin. This does not affect rights where digital content is faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill. Read the course refund policy or contact info@spiremaths.com about a problem, cancellation or refund. A completed refund or payment dispute ends course access.
11+ course limitations
The course contains original Spire Maths questions and supports maths knowledge, reasoning and test technique. It is independent of and not affiliated with or endorsed by GL Assessment. Local 11+ test formats, timings, standardisation and qualifying scores vary. Raw course scores are not age-standardised and no course, report or recommendation guarantees a pass, school place or admission result.
Parent and child profiles
The adult account holder is responsible for purchases and for supervising suitable use. Child profiles must use a first name or nickname only and must not include contact details, a date of birth or school. Login credentials must not be created for or supplied by a child.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and useful, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, improve, rename or remove resources from time to time.
Accuracy and educational use
We take care when preparing resources, but mistakes can happen. Users should check content before using it in a lesson and adapt it where needed for their class.
Intellectual property
The Spire Maths name, branding, website design, tools, lesson materials and resource content belong to Spire Maths or its licensors unless stated otherwise. You may not use our branding or materials in a way that suggests endorsement or ownership without permission.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site in a way that could damage, overload or interfere with it.
- Do not upload or send unlawful, harmful, offensive or misleading material.
- Do not attempt to access areas of the site or accounts that you are not authorised to use.
External links
The site may link to external websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of external sites.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site develops. The latest version will be published on this page.
